The children had the task of designing and making an apron which would be effective for use when washing up. They thought of the different materials they could use, the size of the apron and how they could make it fit and stay on. Once they had made them, we tested them to see if they were water resistant! We had lots of fun doing this!

Well done to Class 4A who performed brilliantly at the Cathedral today!
The children were given the theme of ‘chaos’ to work with and chose to improvise a drama about the devastating earthquake in Haiti. Their acting was outstanding and it was wonderful to use such a beautiful building as a performance space.
Thank you those who came to watch. We are repeating it tomorrow (Wed 9th June) for KS2 at 9:10am in the hall. Any parents/carers are welcome to come and watch.
Just a quick reminder that my class will need a packed lunch and clothes for the dress rehearsal tomorrow. They will also need the same on Tuesday.
Hope you’ve enjoyed the half term,
Miss Mcleod
